President attends installation of new Somali leader

NAIROBI, Oct 14 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh participated Thursday in the installation of the new Somali President Abdullah Yusif Ahmad who was elected for office by Somali Provisional Parliament. The ceremony was attended by Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki, President of Uganda and African Union Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo, President of Rwanda Paul Kagame, Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh, Vice-president of South Africa Jacob Zuma, Sudanese First Vice President Ali Osman Taha, Tanzanian Prime Minister Frederick Sumaye, and Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Mousa.
