President attends ceremony on concluding activities of Holy Quran

SANA’A, Aug. 27 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh attended on Sunday a ceremony of concluding summer centers of memorizing Holday Quran.In the ceremony, president Saleh delivered a speech in which he congratulated students of the centers, thanking teachers of their efforts to memorize students the Holy Quran. He called on the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance to collect, supervises, and pays all forms of care for these centers. “We order the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance to coordinate with ministry of education to pay attention for students during summer as more than YR 50 million was paid for holding summer activities for the school students.”Saleh said. He said that number of the students in the summer centers reached 100,000 students across the country. AH/TN SABA
