President and Yemeni people denounces Israeli assaults on Palestinian

SANA’A, March 15 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh conducted a telephone
conversation on Wednesday with President of Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) in which he expressed his and Yemeni people denounce for what Palestinian people subjected to assault and tyranny and State terrorism which exercised by the Israeli government to control Jericho prison and arresting prisoners.
Saleh said that this Israeli hostile activity represents critical violation
for international conventions which included protection of prisoners in Jericho prison by US and UK.
He pointed out that Israel is not respect any international conventions and resolutions and he also announced Yemeni people solidarity with Palestinian people in their legal struggle against the Israeli occupation and their resistance to gain their rights.
President Saleh called all Arab and Islamic nations to support the Palestinian
people to regain their legal rights and implementing international resolutions
concerning the Arab Israeli conflict.
He also said that the Quartet Committee is responsible to return the prisoners back and handing them to the Palestinian authority.
