President: Americans committed mistakes in Iraq

SANA’A, Nov 23 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh said “the Americans committed big mistakes as they posed to have freedom and democracy for Iraq as their motto” calling the assault on Iraqi city of Fallujah as a contrast of the claim. In an interview with Corriere Della Sera, an Italian newspaper, President Saleh said “seeing such attacks against mosques and churches, we are compelled to wonder if this is the promised justice.” Asked about if there are relations between inking a border agreement with Saudi Arabia and the end of the kidnapping phenomenon, president said “We can’t be certain about that.” He added that his relations with Saudi leaders are so good especially with Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. He affirmed that Saudi Arabia didn’t accuse Yemen as a political system of smuggling arms to its territories. AH/AA SABA
