Presiden Saleh in Turkey, Germany soon

SANA’A, Feb. 07 (Saba) – Well-informed sources said that President Ali Abdullah Saleh is to pay visits to Germany and Turkey by the end of February, the weekly 26September reported on Thursday. The sources said that President Saleh would meet during his visits to Turkey and Germany with the Turkish president Abdullah Gul and the chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel to talk on means of developing bilateral cooperation ties with each. President Saleh’s talks with his Turkish counterpart will focus on the latest developments in the Middle East and issues of common interests within the framework of the Organization the Islamic Conference as well as the issue of fighting terrorism. In Germany, President Saleh would hold talks with senior officials on bilateral economic cooperation as well as reviewing the latest developments in the Middle East region and the importance of activating the European role in implementing the International resolutions in relation to the Israeli-Arab conflict. At the end of the last month, President Saleh paid successful visits to Spain, Belgium and the European Commission Headquarters in Brussels in which he discussed means to develop cooperation with the European Union countries.
