Political parties hold meeting on Saleh constitutional changes

SANA’A, (Saba)- Some political parties held on Wednesday a meeting to discuss initiative of President Ali Abdullah Saleh over constitutional amendments. The participants considered shifting into local ruling is a good step towards extending popular participation, affirming the importance of changing law of organizing activities of political parties. They agreed on pursuing dialogue among political parties by the end of this month. Participants expressed congratulations for the Yemeni people on the occasion of the advent of Eid al-Fitr and the 44th anniversary of 14th October Revolution. AH/AM Saba
