PM delivers presidential letter to Amir of Kuwait
Kuwait- Amir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received here on Monday a letter from President Ali Abdullah Saleh concerning the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries.
The letter was handed over to Amir of Kuwait by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar.
The letter also dealt with the situation in Yemen, mainly the current crisis and the efforts made in the framework of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s initiative to address it.
During the meeting, Al-Sabah reiterated the Kuwaiti attitude in support of the unity, security and stability of Yemen as well as any effort would safeguard Yemenis.
For his part, Mujawar briefed Amir of Kuwait on the current situation in Yemen and the political leadership's keenness on succeeding gulf's initiative to end the current crisis in the country.
He valued efforts made by Kuwait to generate the initiative and its keenness to achieve its noble goals.
Mujawar arrived early on Monday to Kuwait coming from Oman, where he handed over on Sunday the Omani Sultan Qaboos Bin Said al Said a letter from President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The letter dealt with the latest developments in the Yemeni arena and the possible means to maintain the security and stability of Yemen and the region's states..
