Palestinian President in Sana’a next week

SANA’A, Feb. 07 (Saba) – The President of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas will pay an official visit to Yemen early next week, the weekly 26September reported on Thursday. The website quoted informed sources as saying that Abbas will discuss with President Ali Abdullah Saleh the latest developments in Palestine as well as moves to heal the rift between the two Palestinian Hamas and Fatah movements and issues in relations to the upcoming Arab Summit to be held in Syria. The sources notified Abbas’s visit to Yemen comes to continue the Yemeni government’s efforts to support the Palestinian case. FR/YA Saba
