Palestinian President due in Yemen

SANA’A, June 16 (Saba) – Well-informed sources said on Monday that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is to arrive in Sana’a next Wednesday on a few-day visit to talk with President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the latest developments in Palestine.The sources were quoted by the state-run althawra daily as saying that President Saleh and his Palestinian counterpart would discuss the possibility of resuming the dialogue among the Palestinian factions based on a Yemeni initiative in order to ending the Palestinian crisis as well as talking on peace process disrupted by Israel.Yemen presented an initiative earlier this year to end the conflict between Hamas and the Palestinian authority within Yemeni efforts in solving Palestinian conflict.
