Palestinian MP praises Saleh’s initiative over settling Palestinian dispute

SANA’A, Sept. 01 (Saba)- Head of the Fatah bloc in the Palestinian Legislative Council Azzam al-Ahmed highlighted on Saturday the initiative presented by President Ali Abdullah Saleh to settle dispute between the Palestinian factions, namely Fatah and Hamas. During his meeting with Deputy Speaker of Parliament Jafar Ba-Saleh, al-Ahmed praised initiatives presented by President Saleh to support Palestinian issue and the struggle of its people against the Israeli enemy. They also discussed current situations in Palestine and other issues of common concern. Ba-Saleh affirmed support of Yemen for the Palestinian struggle and its right to set up their independent state. He renewed call of Yemen for all Palestinian factions for unity and dialogue to serve the Palestinian issue. AH/AM Saba
