Nigerian president hold talks with SC chairman

ABUJA, June 06(Saba)- On the sidelines of his participation in consultative meeting of Association of Senates and Equivalent
Councils in Africa andthe Arab World held in the Capital of Nigeria, Abuja, the Shura ChairmanAbdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani met with the
Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo.In the meeting, Abdul-Ghani conveyed President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s greetings to president
Obasanjo and the Nigerian people. He expressed thank you for the Nigerian government for hosting the 1st consultative meeting which
would contribute to reinforcing the cooperation relations between member countries. For his part, the president Obasanjo welcomed
Abdul-Ghani, and highly valuing the role of the association in enhancing ties between Arab and Africa countries.
Obasanjo caused Abdul-Ghani to convey greetings to President Ali Abdullah Saleh and wishes of further progress and prosperity for the
Yemeni people. Meanwhile, Abdul-Ghani met with heads of the participating delegations and conferred with them about role and goals of the association for more fruitful achievements.
