New SC members take oath before president Saleh

SANA’A, April 05 (Saba) – The newly appointed Judges in the Supreme Court (SC) took Saturday the constitutional oath before the President Ali Abdullah Saleh. The Judges were Saeed al-Qatta’a, Mohammad Abdul-Kader al-Haj and Abdul-Malik al-Aghbari. After swearing the oaths, President Saleh congratulated the judges and talked to them about the important role judges should play in Yemeni courts, accentuating their obligation to the constitution and laws. He confirmed the necessity of settling the citizens’ cases before courts quickly according to the law. MS/AF Saba
