New ministers, governors swear constitutional oath before President Saleh
SANA’A, May 21 (Saba) – The newly appointed ministers, governors and Shoura council’s members took on Wednesday the constitutional oath before President Ali Abdullah Saleh. The newly appointed ministers are: Deputy Premier for Defense and Security affairs Rashad al-Alimi, Deputy Primer for Interior Affairs Sadeq Abu Rass, Minister of Civil Service and Social Security Yahya al-Shu’aibi, Minister of Parliament and Shura Council affairs Khalid al-Sharif, Minister of Interior Mutahar Rashad al-Masri, Minister of Fisheries Wealth Mohammed Shamlan, Minister of Oil and Minerals Amir Aidrous, Minister of Electricity and Energy Awadh al-Socatry and Minister of State and Director of Prime Minister Office Abdul Rahman Tarmoum. The new appointed governors based on the recent governor elections held on 17th May are: 1. Minister of State, Mayor of the Capital Abdul Rahmman Mohammed al-Akwa’a, Aden Governor Adnan Omar al-Jafari, Taiz Governor Hamoud Khaled al-Sufi, Lahj Governor Muhasen Ali Naji al-Naqib, Ibb Governor Ahmed Abdullah al-Hajari, Abyan Governor Ahmed Ahmed al-Maisari, Baidha’a Governor Mohammed Naser al-Ameri, Shabwa Governor Ali Hassan al-Ahmadi, Hadramout Governor Salem Ahmed al-Khanbashi, Mahrah Governor Ali Mohammed Khawdam, Hodeidah Governor Ahmed Salem al-Jabali, Dhamar Governor Yahya Ali Mohammed al-Amri, Sana’a Governor Nu’aman Ahmed Dowaid, Mahweet Governor Ahmed Ali Muhsen al-Ahwal, Hajjah Governor Farid Ahmed Mujawar, Saada Governor Hasan Mohammed Manna’a, Marib Governor Naji Ali al-Zayadi, Amran Governor Kahlan Mujahed Abu Shawarab, Ali Salem al-Khadhami Raymah Governor and Ali Qasam Talab Dalei Governor. Furthermore, the newly appointed members of the Shoura Council also sworn the constitutional oath before the President and they are: Yahya al-Arashi, Mutahar al-Suaidi, Abdul Wahab al-Rawhani, Abdul Aziz al-Kumaim, Ali al-Qayssi, Mansour Abdul Jalil, Abdul Wahab al-Durah, Mohammed al-Harazi and Mohammed al-Ansi.
