New ambassador to Libya sworn in

SANA’A, March 22 (Saba) – Yemen’s new ambassador to Libya was sworn in on Sunday. Ahmed Abdullah al-Majeedi, who ran for president post in Yemen’s first presidential election which took place in 2006, took constitutional oath before President Ali Abdullah Saleh. On March 18, President Saleh issued the republican decree No. 47/2009 appointing al-Majeedi as Yemen’s new ambassador to the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. FRSaba
