Moroccan King invites President Saleh to visit his country

SANA’A, March 26 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Wednesday a letter from Morocco’s King Mohammed VI regarding the fraternal cooperation relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields. The letter also included an invitation from King Mohammed VI to President Saleh to visit Morocco. In his letter, King Mohammed VI praised Yemen’s stands towards pro-Arab and Islamic issues, particularly the Palestinian issue, expressing Morocco’s support the Sana’a Declaration. King Mohammed affirmed his country’s appreciation for Yemen’s efforts to bridge the gap among Palestinian factions and overcome differences between Fatah and Hamas movements to serve the Palestinian people’s interests. King Mohammed confirmed Morocco’s keenness to strengthen its relations with Yemen at different areas. During his meeting with director of Royal Divan Mohammed Rasheed al-Sharaybi, President Saleh wished King Mohammed VI good health and happiness and for the people of Morocco further progress and prosperity, noting the good level of mutual relations between Yemen and Morocco and affirming Yemen’s keenness on strengthening and developing them in various areas.
