Marib tribes ink pact on halting revenge

ARIB, March 11 (Saba) – In response to the President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s call, Marib tribes signed an anti-avenge peace agreement for 2.5 years. Moreover, a committee, chaired by Marib Governor Abdullah Al-Nassi, was formed to deal with the phenomenon and reach a radical solution for revenge in a whole. The committee held a meeting to count avenge cases, and deal with other issues in districts, in order to include all cases in the accord. The committee made a work plan including discussion of the presidential orders achieved, and follow-up other signatures of sheikhs and tribesmen. Marib Governor stated that %90 of signatures was obtained so far, and others might sign in the few coming days. KN/KM
