Many promises of president’s electoral platform achieved, says PM

SANA’A, April 27 (Saba) – The Prime Minister Ali Mujawar said on Sunday that the government has achieved many promises included in the President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s electoral platform. In a symposium on Democracy Day of 27 April, Mujawar delivered a speech in which pointed out to the democratic progress and economic achievements which have been took place in the country during the previous period. He made it clear that the step of governors’ elections was not random, but it was planed and came after study in details. Mujawar indicated to the achievements in fields of electricity, roads, water, agriculture, and investment in addition to other infrastructure projects such as improvement of the nation’s ports. He also said that that the Yemeni oil production will be increased up to more than 500,000 per day by 2010. He concluded his speech by highlighting efforts done in sphere of civil services reforms.
