Kuwait’s Emir receives letter from Saleh

KUWAIT,Jan.05(Saba)- The Emir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Wednesday a letter from President Ali Abdullah Saleh. In the letter, Saleh congratulated al-Sabah on the occasion of Kuwait’s winning the 20th Gulf Cup, which was hosted by Yemen during November 22- December 5, 2010. The letter was delivered to Al-Sabah by Yemen’s ambassador to Kuwait Khalid Sheikh during his meeting with the Kuwait’s Emir. The letter also dealt with the bilateral relations and areas of joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries as well as issues of common concern. At the meeting, Al-Sabah praised the great success achieved by Yemen in hosting the 20th Gulf Cup tournament in the business capital of Aden. He confirmed the importance of historical relations between the two brotherly peoples and the need to enhance these relations at all levels. BA Saba
