Kuwait’s Emir receives letter from president Saleh
KUWAIT CITY, May 05 (Saba)- The Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad al-Sabah received on Monday a letter from President Ali Abdullah Saleh concerning bilateral relations between the two countries and regional and international issues of common concern. The letter was handed over by foreign minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi during his meeting with the Kuwaiti Emir. During the meeting, the Emir of Kuwait with al-Qirbi discussed horizons of developing ties between Yemen and Kuwait to serve mutual interests of both countries. The Kuwaiti leader highlighted Yemeni-Kuwait ties, saying “Yemen has a high position in hearts of Kuwaitis.” He expressed concern of his country to present support for the development and stability in Yemen. The Kuwaiti Emir also asked al-Qirbi to convey his regards to president Saleh wishing him good health and more progress and prosperity for the Yemeni people. AH/AH Saba
