Khartoum Summit resolutions aim to enhance joint Arab work: President
KARTOUM, March 28, (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh reaffirmed that the 18th Arab summit which concluded its activities yesterday come out with new resolutions for enhancing the joint Arab solidarity and work march.
President Saleh said in a statement to Sudanese space channel that the summit affirmed its support for Palestinian Authority by the leadership of Palestinian president Mahmoud Abass it blessed the democratic elections which held in Palestine.
He pointed out that the summit unanimously ratified the nomination resolution of Amru Mousa Arab League General Secretary for the new term. He also affirmed that the summit approved its support for peace keeping forces in Darfur province and agreed to push forward forces from Arab and African countries.
