Iranian Vice-President in Yemen

SANA’A, Dec. 20 (Saba) – Vice President of Iran Hamid Bagayi arrived on Monday in Sana’a carrying a letter from Iranian President Ahmadinejad to President Ali Abdullah Saleh.Upon his arrival, Bagayi said that the letter deals with the bilateral relations and means of developing them in various areas of common concerns.Yemen and Iran have good relations for along time in different fields, Bagayi said, adding that Yemen is one of the most important countries in the Middle East.He said Iran policy is based on developing its relations with the Islamic, Arab and regional relations, particularly with Yemen.I wish the visit to be base of advancing the bilateral relation, Bagayi said.FJ/AF
