Iranian president receives letter from president Saleh

TEHRAN, May 04 (Saba) – The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad received on Sunday a message from President Ali Abdullah Saleh concerning brotherly ties between Yemen and Iran. The message, was handed over by Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi during his meeting with the Iranian president, dealt with the regional and international developments. The Iranian president praised important role of Yemen in maintaining security and stability in the region, pointing out to the position of Iran which supports stability and unity of Yemen. He expressed condemnation of Iran for all terrorist acts that targeted Yemen. AH/AH Saba
