In call with Siniora, Saleh hails Lebanese resistance

SANA’A, July 18 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Tuesday a phone call from Lebanese prime minister Fouad Siniora. Saleh was briefed on the latest developments in the Lebanon that is under Israeli attacks that target the Lebanese infrastructure. President Saleh hailed the unity of the Lebanese people against Israeli escalation, affirming the Yemeni solid stance toward the Lebanese people, calling the international community to join their efforts to stop this war. He confirmed the right of Lebanese government to control all its areas, stressing the necessity of holding an Arab summit to seek united Arab positions to stop Israeli aggressions. TD/NS SABA
