GCC official considers Saleh’s speech “a practical protocol”

SANA’A, June 29 (Saba) -A senior Gulf official has called President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s speech in the Islamic gathering in Sana’a “a practical protocol for the Organization of the Islamic Conference. In a press statement, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdul-Rahman al-Atiyah said the conference is supposed to go in line with Saleh’s keynote address in the opening of the 32nd session of the OIC foreign ministers. He deemed the conference to derive its significance from the sensitivity of the present of the Moslem Ummah. NA/AA SABA
