FM Meets Iranian president special envoy

SANA’A, July 17 (Saba)- Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi received here on Tuesday the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Mohammad Bagheri. The Iranian official expressed his country’s support for stability and security in Yemen. The meeting also reviewed the mutual relations between the two countries and means of developing them in addition to Arab and international current situations, particularly in Iraq,Palestine and Lebanon. Bagheri is visiting Yemen to hand over President Ali Abdullah Saleh a letter from Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. YA/AF SABA
