Chinese President receives new Yemeni ambassador

BEIJING, Nov. 15 (Saba)- Yemen’s newly appointed ambassador to china Abdul-Mallik al-Mualimi handed over on Thursday his credentials to Chinese President Hu Jintao. During their meeting, al-Mualimi conveyed to President Jintao best wishes of President Ali Abdullah Saleh hoped him good health and happiness and more progress and prosperity to the Chinese people. Al-Mualimi renewed President Saleh’s invitation to Jintao to visit Yemen. The Chinese President asked the ambassador to convey his thanks and greetings to president Saleh. President Jintao welcomed al-Mualimi, confirming his country’s keenness to implement all treaties signed during President Saleh’s last visit to Beijing in 2006. Al-Mualimi renewed Yemen’s welcome to Chinese investments in the country in various fields, affirming that the Chinese businessmen and investment firms would receive all facilitations for serving the common interests of the two countries.
