Bashar praises Saleh support for Arab Solidarity

ANA’A, May 23(Saba)- The Syrian president Bashar al-Asad highly appreciated the efforts of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to enhance the joint Arab work. During his meeting with the Yemeni Prime Minister Abdul-Qader Ba-Jammal on Sunday in Tunisia, they discussed the Yemeni-Syrian mutual relations and topics that would be discussed in the Arab summit, on the top are the Arab joint work, the role of Arab League and Yemen’s initiative for changing the Arab League into union. They discussed preparations for the coming meeting of Yemeni-Syrian Joint Committee that scheduled to be held in the second half of this year in Sana’a. JW/NS
