Bahraini King gets letter of President Saleh
MANAMA- Crown Prince of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Tuesday in Manama a letter from President Ali Abdullah Saleh to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
The letter handed over by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar dealt with the Yemeni-Bahraini fraternal relations and means to strengthen them.
During the meeting, Bahrain's Crown Prince expressed the keenness of Bahrain on the security and stability of Yemen, hoping that Yemen will overcome the current crisis and maintain its territorial integrity.
He voiced his satisfaction with the remarkable development in the relationship ties between the two brotherly countries and peoples.
For his part, Mujawar accented the mutual keenness to enhance the Yemeni-Bahraini relations, valuing highly the role Bahrain has played to address the current crisis in Yemen via the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) initiative.
He reiterated the attitude of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who has welcomed the initiative and the efforts aiming to assist all parties to overcome the ongoing crisis.
During three days, Mujawar has handed over letters from President Saleh to the leaders of Oman, Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
In addition to the brotherly cooperation relations, the letters have dealt with the latest developments in the domestic arena and the possible means to maintain the security and stability of Yemen and the region's States.
