Ba-Jammal meets Lebanese President, Sudanese FM

TUNIS, May 22 (Saba) – Lebanese President Emile Lahud received at his resident in Tunisia Saturday Prime Minister Abdul-Qadar Ba-Jammal. In the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and current arrangements to hold meeting of Yemeni-Lebanese joint committee. The Lebanese president appreciated role of Yemen and concern of the President Ali Abdullah Saleh on reforming Arab joint work, expressing admiration of president’s Saleh stance towards national issues. Ba-Jammal is currently taking part in the Arab summit on behalf of president Saleh. Meanwhile, Ba-Jammal held talks here on Saturday with Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Osman. The talks focused on bilateral relations between the two countries and topics of common concern as well as political coordination between Yemen and Sudan that supports Sudanese leadership to reach peace and stability that insure unity of the Sudanese territories. The Sudanese minister valued efforts of president Saleh and his support for the peace process in Sudan. AH/KM SABA
