Australia’s Governor-General congratulates president Saleh on National Day

SANA’A, May 19 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Monday congratulation cable on the Reunification Day from the Governor-General of Australia Michael Jeffery. ” I note with satisfaction the increased level of engagement between our Defense Forces and our continued cooperation in the fight against terrorism.” Australia’s governor general Michael Jeffery said in his letter. ” May I express confidence that the friendly relations existing between our countries will continue to prosper in the coming years.” Jeffery added. The Australian leader expressed his personal congratulations, together with those of the Australian government and people for president Saleh and all the Yemeni people wishing them to have a joyous National Day.
