Algerian president receives SC chairman

SANA’A, Nov 30(Saba) – Algerian president Abdulaziz Bouteflika received here on Monday chairman of Shura council Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani. Abdul-Ghani, chairman of the Association of Senates and Equivalent Councils in Africa and the Arab World, is in an official visit to Algerian to attend 27th conference of African Parliaments Union that is being held on Monday in Algeria. In the meeting, Abdul-Ghani handed over a message to Algerian leader from President Ali Abdullah Saleh concerning means of developing cooperation between Yemen and Algerian in different fields. Bouteflika highlighted the level of Yemeni-Algerian relations, confirming the conformity of viewpoints of Algeria and Yemen towards developments at the regional and international levels. For his part, Abdul-Ghani appreciated the interest of president Bouteflika in boosting Yemeni-Algerian ties. AH/NS SABA
