Al Eryani meets with President of UN General Assembly

NEW YORK, July 07 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s political advisor Abdul Karim al Eryani met on Wednesday in New York with President of the United Nations General Assembly Ali Abdussalam Treki. They discussed the role of Yemen as president of the Group of 77 and China.The meeting also dealt with the Yemeni role in defending the economic interests of the developing countries and preparations for the meeting of world leaders to be held in September. The meeting will review what has been achieved toward the millennium development goals as well as Yemen’s presidency of negotiations under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).MD/FRSaba
