Al-Dala’a thanks President Saleh over resolving retirees’ issue
SANA’A, (Saba)- Local and executive officials as well as representatives of al-Dala’a governorate in the Parliament, Shura Council and military, security and social figures in the governorate appreciated President Ali Abdullah Saleh for his efforts to resolve issue of retirees. During their meeting with President Saleh in Sana’a, they pointed out to the service projects in the governorate implemented under his leadership and the problems which need for peaceful treatments including issue of military and civil retirees who have been ousted without giving them their rights. They affirmed that they would stand against any one who tries to damage basic principles of the nation, condemning separation and discriminative language. For his part, President Saleh asked concerned authorities to carry out his decision of putting back military retirees who were illegally forced to retire in 1994 in service. Moreover, he ordered to set detainees on riots last Thursday in Aden free on condition that they respect law and order. Saleh also gave orders to set up a number of technical and vocational institutes in al-Dali governorate to receive youths to qualify them to be active elements in development process, affirming the important role of the local authority to follow up service projects which meet needs of the governorate.
